Reactions to Pending Election and Our Blog

After nearly two years of aggressive, hateful behavior towards us and threats to remove us from our jobs, now that a vote is scheduled, the union and some strikers are taking a different tone. They want us to believe they care about us and our jobs Too little too late and simply not believable.


Others are more honest, sticking to the hateful tone. Here is an example of an email to chartertechs@yahoo.com yesterday:


"Scabs, NY is a union town. Take a hike mutts."


Another longer email that we can't repeat in full here because of profanity says we "don't deserve to breathe."


We expect both tactics from the union and its supporters to continue. These last minute efforts will not change the result. We are making our decision based on what we have experienced over the length of the strike. It is time for Local 3 to go.


VOTE NO UNION.
