Let me help you translate....they can only subcontract out to other L3 contractors

Charter’s initial offer in February included paying into the JIB. The problem came because they put a number on it and not a percentage. L3 was getting 36.42% of payroll which amounted to over $30 MILLION a year. Even at what the company offered L3, they were getting roughly $15 million.

On principle? Nope! Everything else hinges on if there was a contract April 2, 2014 (Charter wasn’t around yet*). Remember, if there’s no contract there should have been no wage increases during that time. They took the money. The contract was ratified. Why didn’t they honor the wishes of workers? To get a few extra dollars for those with Electrical degrees? All two people that were already locked into their rate?

Everyone is blaming Charter yet the strike actually started because of the foremen being told to carry tools back in 2013. Oh yeah, remember that? Well the union is still fighting over that. They’ve spent almost $600k in attorney fees in 2017 alone (fact and public record) when the fine was $20k. Why? There's a lot more money at stake.
Charter files a charge. Union says we'll go to binding arbitration (as per the contract)⁉ Well, arbitrator says its a strike. Union after losing - We don't have a contract and he doesn't have the authority. Courts - You went to him and asked him to decide. You took the money and operated as if you had a contract includ…
